It's always exciting to see our Wildflower brides in the press...check out lovely Katherine and Andrew's wedding on pages 38 and 39 of the Autumn 2014 NZ Weddings magazine.
We had lots of fun working with the styling talent of Sophia Hoadley from My Waiheke to create a beautiful ceremony location in a glade of overhanging trees...we festooned the bamboo arch from Figment Event Hire with dahlias, filled large rusty urns with olive, and hung jars with tiny posies from each aisle chair. In the marquee, the tables were filled with posies of roses and lisianthus and herbs in amber mason jars and with vintage crystal vases with loose dahlia blooms.
I especially loved designing the "vintage glamour" style posies to go with Katherine's romantic lace and her bridesmaids' gold sequin encrusted dresses...peach David Austen roses nestled amongst dahlias, lisianthus and tendrilly tweedia - from ivory through blush to deep bronzey -gold tones.
Here are some of Emma Hughes' gorgeous photos below...and grab a copy of the magazine if you can!
